SYNOPSIS
This is a first-class detective story by a new author about the murder of a policeman. P.C. Johnson is found murdered by John Rutherford, a provincial bookseller, and from John Rutherford we hear the whole story of all that happened during the following ten days when Inspector Charlton was unravelling the mystery. Murder in Blue has an attractive hero; a touch of humour; just enough love interest to please the ordinary reader; and an intriguing mystery which keeps the reader guessing until the very last page.
