Further Information
Vernon Warren, born 1925, was a pen name for George warren Vernon Chapman, other than that we know very little about this author. He was very popular, especially amongst members of the Thriller Book Club in Britain. This seems to have been his most popular outlet, true first editions are not that common, especially in their superb pictorial dust jackets, some of which can be seen by clicking on the hyperlinked titles in the above checklist.

Vernon Warren Biography - Kindly Supplied By, and in the Words of, Carol M Chapman - the Author's Daughter

Dad married in 1950 and had two children I came first then my brother Robert. We immigrated to Canada in 1957.We came over by boat to Quebec. My dad had $80.00 dollars in his pocket when we caught the train to Alberta which was a five thousand mile trip. The reason for going to Alberta is that dad had a contact there his step father.

Dad had worked for Llyods of London so pursued his career in insurance.

My mum and dad divorced in 1968 we all went our separate ways. Dad loved the States hence the location of his books and where we vacationed every year. He eventually retired in Idaho. He didn't write again until two years before his passing in 1996. He passed before completing his final manuscript.
