Vernon Warren, born 1925, was a pen name for George
warren Vernon Chapman, other than that we know very little about this
author. He was very popular, especially amongst members of the Thriller
Book Club in Britain. This seems to have been his most popular outlet,
true first editions are not that common, especially in their superb
pictorial dust jackets, some of which can be seen by clicking on the hyperlinked titles in the above checklist.

Dad married in 1950 and had two children I came first then my
brother Robert. We immigrated to Canada in 1957.We came over by
boat to Quebec. My dad had $80.00 dollars in his pocket when we
caught the train to Alberta which was a five thousand mile trip.
The reason for going to Alberta is that dad had a contact there his
step father.
Dad had worked for Llyods of London so pursued his career in
insurance.
My mum and dad divorced in 1968 we all went our separate
ways. Dad loved the States hence the location of his books and
where we vacationed every year. He eventually retired in Idaho.
He didn't write again until two years before his passing in 1996. He passed
before completing his final manuscript.
