Sidney Fairway Biography - Information About the Author
Sidney Fairway is a pseudonym of Herbert Daukes who (born in 1887 and died in 1947 re the British Library) was a doctor in London.
We've listed all the titles held by the British Library, some not listed in Hubin so presumably not crime fiction - all noted above.
Book collectors should expect most of the first editions to be undated. US publications listed as and when applicable.
The institutional libraries record second and third impressions of some titles, unusual for Stanley Paul, this suggests considerable popularity at the time.
There are some great period dust jackets on these books but sadly they are genuinely rare in dustwrapper.
