Further Information
Sidney George Hedges born 1897 to 1974. Sadly this is all we know of this author, we would welcome further information from any family members and will expand this section accordingly.

Mr HEDGES, " the most famous writer on Swimming in the world,'* also writes detective thrillers. Here is an exciting tale in which swimming plays an important part. The story begins with the broadcast account of a Channel swim. Mystery and death follow, and the whole scene shifts to Venice, where European swimming championships are being held, and a delightful English girl is the dominant personality. Those who enjoy good thrillers, and those who enjoy swimming too, must not miss this book.
