Paul Costello, born 1903, is a Hubin listed author, the author's main series character is Terence O'Hara.
These books are rare in dustwrapper, the Robert Hale ones especially as most went to public libraries.
Although the books should not be ridiculously expensive they are not cheap due to scarcity and collectability.
