John Wyllie Author Biography - Information About the Author
John Vectis Carew Wyllie was born in 1914, he is a Hubin listed crime and mystery author and all of his mystery books are set in Africa, his series character is Dr Quarshie.
The Dr Quarshie series of books are unknown to many readers and book collectors which is a shame as they have a very much different setting in a crime fiction world that is full of repetitive and cliched backdrops and for that alone they deserve greater recognition.
The books are available at reasonable prices, reprints and paperbacks are available online for readers too.
We've included all the books held by the British Library written John Wyllie, not just the Hubin listed mystery books so this should be a complete list of books in order - note the US books precede in some cases, all duly noted in the bibliography.
