John Connolly
is a fabulous writer, a personal favourite in fact. His main series
character is Charlie Parker and features in all the books in this
bibliography apart from Bad Men. The first are all handsome publications
with very attractive dustwrappers. They carry the printers key, so true
1sts should always carry the number one in the number line. The author
has promoted the books so signed editions are available and serious
collectors may want to, perhaps, only consider signed examples. For
further interest the publishers also issued proof (advance readers copy
or ARC) copies, these make an interesting addition to any collection and
are not easy to locate. We have great confidence in the future
desirability of this author, particularly as his work is consistently
some of the very best in the modern mystery genre. All ready well
collected but with some way to go yet we suspect |
