James Anderson, born 1936, is British born and educated at Reading University. He has worked in journalism and as a copywriter. Apart from the last book listed the English editions were published prior to American. Three of the book were not released in the States. There are no alternative titles. His work ranges from a cosy Golden Age to police procedurals and deserves a wider audience
