Jack Dolph Author Biography - Information About the Author
Jack Dolph is a pseudonym of John Mather Dolph, American author and race horse trainer who was born in 1894 and died in 1962.
The UK first edition books are from the wonderful Bloodhound Books series, all complete with great period artwork.
The books aren't common, ex-library copies are a problem for the British editions.
The Boardman paperback, Murder Makes the Mare Go ,is an interesting one, not listed by Hubin and I only found copies in the Oxford and Dublin libraries, no copy in the British Library and the only paperback original in this Boardman format I've ever come across.
