J. Lane Linklater Author Biography - Information About the Author
Joseph Lane Linklater is a pseudonym of Alex Watkins, he's Hubin listed and his main series character is Silas Booth. The author's byline is usually "J" but some editions use "Joseph".
We've taken this bibliography well beyond Hubin, the British Library and the American Library of Congress and included many of the contributions the author made to various magazines. Whilst this is a comprehensive list we wouldbn't claim it to be a complete list of works in order as there are surely some more rare pulp magazines out there somewhere.
The UK edition of Shadow for a Lady is something of an enigma. For years we've seen no end of copies, it clearly had a huge print run but one wonders why as so many of the TV Boardman books of the period are rare.
