Synopsis
FROM the brilliantly lighted windows of Zeiner's Club came the sound of music and laughter. Inside the Club the band played, whilst the violinist crooned a haunting melody.. And in the next room a man lay dead. All through the night those lights shone over the darkened street, but the gaiety had long since ceased, the band departed. In place of the Commissionaire in his resplendent blue uniform, stood an unsmiling constable in the sombre blue of the Metropolitan Police. Scotland Yard was in possession.
