Gerald Verner Biography - Information About the Author
Gerald Verner is a pseudonym of Donald Stuart born 1897 and died 1980.
When no publisher noted it's Wright & Brown.
The list of books is comprised of the first edition books, Sexton Blake pulp paperbacks not included.
What would a full set of books in dust jacket look like?
Especially considering how fine much of Gerald Verner's dust jacket artwork was.

A few of the books were published in America but most were not.
Collectors will find all of the books uncommon in dust jacket, pre 1950 are rare, pre 1940 very rare in dustwrapper.
Book collectors should also note that many of the early books were first printed and sold at 3/6 - unlike the usual convention during this period of 7/6 for first edition books and 3/6 usually means later of cheap edition book.

Interesting facts: Gerald Verner states "My first book was written on lavatory paper amongst the down-and-outs on the Thames Embankment"
The author also states that during the Nightclub boom in the 1920s he was making 200 a week running a nightclub in Soho, London!
