Edward Morris Author Biography - Information About the Author
Edward Morris has no date of birth given by the British Library, he is listed in Hubin's crime fiction reference guide.
Trinity College Dublin Library lists the author's name as Edward A. Morris, no other library uses the "A" so I'm not sure if this is correct. If you know anything about the author please do drop us an email.
All three books feature photographic dust jackets, uncredited, which was the house standard for Geoffrey Bles at the time. Whilst effective they're not as evocative as "proper" artwork of the period, compare John Rhode's dust jackets before the Bles photographic jackets and then after. We suspect this form of jacket had less to do with trying to be contemporary and more to do with saving the money paid to artists.
