Dorothy Salisbury Davis Biography - Further Information
Dorothy Salisbury Davis, born in Chicago 26 April 1916, is a skilled and award winning author. Her main series characters are Julie Hayes, Mrs Norris and Jasper Tully. She has also built something of a reputation as a short story writer, there are some thirteen, uncollected, in magazines such as Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine. She manages to work in many environments with equal aplomb, from small town to big city settings and her male and female characters all share equal depth All of her books were first published in the United States and a couple saw no English release. We are unaware of any alternative titles ( Salsbury Davies ).
