Caryl Brahms, pseudonym for Doris Caroline Abrahams, was
born in Surrey, England, in 1901 and studied at the Royal Academy of
Music. before becoming a journalist. She was a columnist for the Evening
Standard and the ballet critic for the Daily Telegraph. In 1966 she was
given an Ivor Novello award. We have only listed the mystery fiction
collaborations with SJ Simon though she did write other novels and short
stories. Also, numerous stage, radio and television plays. She passed
away in 1982. |
