Further Information
Brian Cleeve, born in England 22 November 1921, was educated both at Oxford and abroad before serving in the British Merchant Navy. We have omitted the non-criminous works, which amount  at least another nine novels, several works of non-fiction and short stories. For his mystery work, he had a series character, Sean Ryan, although he was not in the majority of the books. The publishing history is a little unstable with priority switching and some titles not being released in both countries. There are some alternative titles and we have duly noted them where applicable. This author does border on the thriller-espionage category but certainly merits inclusion on this site.
