Arthur Gask Author Biography - Further Information
Arthur Gask was born in 1872? and had one main series character, Gilbert Larose. Other than this we know nothing else concrete about this author. We should very much like to amend this, if you have any information we should be only too pleased to hear from you. One thing we do know is that his publishers did him proud with some absolutely cracking dust jacket artwork.

The following information was kindly sent to us by Marlene Paterson, to whom we are grateful.

I was just reading your page on Arthur Gask Bibliography and I noticed that you have his year of birth as 1872. I have a copy of his death notice in "The Advertiser" Adelaide Tuesday, June 26 1951, It states that Arthur was born 1869. He was cremated on that Tuesday the 26th 1951 at the West Tce Cemetery Adelaide Sth Australia.
